Autonomic Nervous System Testing

ANS testing provides a quantitative assessment of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) on the basis of R-R interval variability and blood pressure analysis.
The test is used to objectively confirm or exclude Cardiovascular Autonomic Neuropathy (CAN), Diabetic Autonomic Neuropathy (DAN), syncope, dizziness and other dysautonomia problems. It is also able to distinguish between early and late stages of autonomic neuropathy.

Who should be tested?
In your office, Medicare pays for all chronic progressive diseases, including pain. Two (2) or more tests may be covered for patients that suffer from:

Diabetes, Idiopathic Pain, Polyneuropathy, Peripheral Neuropathy, Orthostatic Hypotension, Syncope & Collapse, Tachycardia unspecified and others.
